南京中医药大学是教育部和江苏省共建的国家双一流建设高校，教育部、江苏省人民政府与国家中医药管理局三方共建高校、世界卫生组织传统医学合作中心、国家建设高水平大学公派研究生项目实施高校、国家“特色重点学科项目”建设高校、国家“卓越医生（中医）教育培养计划”改革首批试点高校、国家级人才培养模式创新实验区、中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校，是世界一流中医药大学建设联盟。 

Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a national double-first-class university jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Jiangsu Province. The Ministry of Education, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine jointly build a university, the World Health Organization Traditional Medicine Cooperation Center, and a national high-level university. Publicly-affiliated postgraduate programs are implemented in colleges and universities, national "characteristic key discipline projects" construction colleges and universities, the first batch of pilot colleges and universities for the reform of the national "Excellent Doctor (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Education and Training Program", a national-level talent training model innovation experimental area, and Chinese Government Scholarship International Students Receiving Hospital.
